Greenhouses present unique challenges—watering can be difficult in an enclosed space, and intense summer heat leads to rapid evaporation and increased humidity. WaterUps provide the ideal solution with their bottom-up wicking system, significantly reducing water loss while maintaining consistent soil moisture. This method also creates a less humid growing environment, minimising the risk of pests and humidity-related diseases.
For this stunning 10ft-wide Winter Gardenz greenhouse, we installed four 1680 macrocarpa raised bed kits, two on each side, creating an optimal growing space. Jo, a Winter Gardenz customer, first connected with the Wicking Beds team at the Auckland Home Show, and with her greenhouse build underway, we were able to provide the perfect solution for her garden paradise. The result—a thriving, low-maintenance growing facility that is as functional as it is beautiful.
